DANCE: Cupid and Psyche?

Together with Belgian choreographer Jeroen Verbruggen, TANZ LINZ explores the ancient myth of Cupid and Psyche. At its heart is Psyche’s search for self-love as the essential foundation for loving another person. Powerful emotions must be experienced time and again before true love can be found and a fulfilling partnership rich in pleasure, joy and desire can be achieved.

The finely nuanced choreography combines humour with a playful delight in detail. Featuring music by composers including Charles Ives, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Gabriel Fauré, the production promises to be a very special highlight.
