Viktor Åslund: Madita (World Premiere)

The renowned Swedish composer Viktor Åslund is composing an opera based on Astrid Lindgren’s classic children’s book Madicken (libretto by Hermann Schneider). Åslund is known for his cinematic operas, and his compositions have been acclaimed at numerous German opera houses in recent years. We are delighted to bring this beloved children’s classic to the stage with a large ensemble, children’s choir, opera chorus and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz.
